Linguistics in Open Access is a non-profit foundation based in the Netherlands, a so-called Stichting in compliance with Dutch law. LingOA is formally governed by its board members and the executive editors of participating journals. Stichting LingOA was founded in 2015. The board members are Prof.dr. Johan Rooryck (President, Leiden University), Prof.dr. Hans Bennis (Secretary, Meertens Institute, KNAW), drs. Natalia Grygierczyk (Treasurer, Radboud University Nijmegen) and Prof. dr. Ton van Haaften (Leiden University). Editors on the Board are Prof. dr. Guido Vanden Wijngaerd (Leuven University) for Glossa: a Journal of General Linguistics, Prof.dr. Sónia Frota (University of Lesboa) for the Journal of Portuguese Linguistics and Prof.dr. Mirjam Ernestus (Radboud University Nijmegen) for Laboratory Phonology. Guidance on project direction and admission of new journals is determined by the academic advisory board in formation. Project leader is drs. Saskia C.J. de Vries (Sampan – academia & publishing).
